Where is the money honey ?

Nobody would have wanted to pay heed to this headline today - "Nokia threatens to Quit India" , except for the fact that it is going to hit hard on jobs of around 38,000 people associated with it's largest manufacturing unit in Tamilnadu. Nokia has already suffered tremendous losses across the globe and in India likewise has been beaten up by Samsung. However, this time around, for Indian government and many people working for Nokia, lots is at stake.

A detailed article in IE quoted via Firstpost.com (Check the link below) throws light on several such issues related to Indian economic status and the weird taxation policies are hounding the likes of Arcelor and Royal Dutch Shell, Vodafone, Cadbury Plc etc are having transfer pricing disputes like Nokia is with the government.

I really wonder if all this was going so wrong for so long, what were bodies like FICCI, CII, Advisory bodies to Commerce Ministry etc were doing? How did it go so wrong suddenly? Is it right to just look into one solution --
"Mr. Rajan" now?

In the backdrop of the Indian Currency called Rupee falling to an all time low of Rs 65 per Dollar and the economic-political conditions giving rise to unrest in the fabric of India, I strongly see a Swadeshi (India made products movement)  and Swaraaj coming back to India in times to come.... if the Global companies and MNCs gang up on the highway leading out of India, we might eventually have a nation full of Desi (Domestic) companies, people working harder-sans-luxury... people going back to agriculture and farming .... influx of small scale industries and entrepreneurs, lesser number of people opting for higher education (due to tightening of budgets)  at one hand and on the other  it could also mean more Brain Drain happening from India (that is if there are still jobs remaining and remaining  for Indians in the US and Europe!)

Aah so many speculations and so less time! And then there is this political thingy of 5 years ka tamasha ( The National Elections of India that happen every 5 years)  also coming up!

For everything, money is required... ha ha but where is the money honey??
